The very talented actress, who became a household name as Bua with Kapil Sharma’s ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, will join his new show only if he has something substantial to offer to her. She doesn’t want to cameos.

However, Bua had something more to say. She said, “If something concrete and meaty is offered to me from Kapil's side, I will definitely do it. I don't want to do a cameo just for the heck of it.”

  • Deepika parties with Novak Djokovic in LA

Los Angeles, Mar 10 (PTI) Indian actress Deepika Padukone was spotted exiting from a club here along with tennis star Novak Djokovic.

The 30-year-old daughter of Badminton player Prakash Padukone, who is shooting her debut Hollywood outing "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" in LA for quite sometime, met the tennis ace in the dark evening hours of March 8.

British tabloid The Daily Mail, which broke the story, however, called her a "female companion" of the tennis star.

The online site faced flak from fans for not doing their homework and failing to recognise the popular Indian star.

Deepika, who is a self-confessed fan of Djokovic's staunch competitor Rafael Nadal, had earlier met Jelena Ristic, wife of defending champion Novak Djokovic on July 10 last year when the Serbian top seed reached his fourth Wimbledon final.

Shah Rukh Khan is Interpol's New 'Turn Back Crime' Ambassador

Shah Rukh Khan is Interpol's New 'Turn Back Crime' Ambassador

SRK - the new ambassador of 'Turn Back Crime' campaign with INTERPOL Secretary General Ronald K Noble
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been roped in as an ambassador for Interpol's "Turn Back Crime" campaign to promote awareness on how everyone can play a role in preventing crime.

SRK, said to be the first Indian to be made an ambassador for the global campaign, is lending his voice to help spread the message that all of society benefits when citizens respect law and fight crime.

"It's a very special honour to be a part of Interpol's Turn Back Crime campaign as an ambassador," said Shah Rukh.

"As Mahatma Gandhi once said, 'I shall not fear anyone on Earth. I shall fear only god. I shall not bear ill will toward anyone. I shall not submit to injustice from anyone. I shall conquer untruth by truth. And in resisting untruth, I shall put up with all suffering, if I have to.' We all should believe in this maxim and in whatever way possible resolve not to let unjust people who might threaten us with criminal activity make us fear them."

"Because I believe we can, we should, and we must stand together against the few who commit crimes against any human being, in whatever form or guise these crimes might take," Shah Rukh said in a statement.

SRK joins actor Jackie Chan as an ambassador for the campaign, which has already garnered support from public figures including footballer Lionel Messi, Formula 1 racing drivers Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen in addition to law enforcement agencies around the world.

Interpol's "Turn Back Crime" campaign is aimed at raising public awareness that organised crime is often involved in seemingly unrelated crimes.

Drug trafficking, human trafficking, counterfeiting, cybercrime, kidnapping, crimes against children and corruption in sport are in fact often interconnected, with profits from one crime area used to fund another.

The "Turn Back Crime" campaign is aimed at helping the public better understand these issues and empowering them not to be duped by criminals when buying products or using the internet.

"Shah Rukh Khan has dedicated his life to making films which reflect the highest level of professionalism and commitment to bringing joy into the lives of hundreds of millions of filmgoers in India and around the world," said Interpol secretary general Ronald K Noble.

"We are honoured to have him as an ambassador for Interpol's global Turn Back Crime campaign and we look forward to seeing how he puts his artistic talents behind this campaign," the Interpol chief said.

The "Turn Back Crime" campaign is also reaching out to companies and policy-makers in a bid to form a united front against contemporary crime challenges, and to support the ongoing activities of the global law enforcement community.

Hilary Duff: My Split from Mike Comrie Has Been 'Very Difficult'

Hilary Duff Talks Split from Mike Comrie, New Album
Hilary Duff
TRISH HALPIN

07/31/2014 08:00PM
Hilary Duff admits she's been having a hard time.

The singer split from husband Mike Comrie in January, and she says the change hasn't been easy.

"I'm separated from my husband right now, which has been a very difficult thing to go through, but we have a lot of love for each other and we have this beautiful baby," Duff, 26, tells Billboard

She has been working on new music and admits there's a song on her upcoming album "about my separation and my love for this person, that maybe we're not meant to be together, or maybe we are. It's very, very personal."
Keep up with Hilary Duff in the pages of PEOPLE Magazine by subscribing now.

Duff's album is her first in seven years, and she does some daring things with it – she sports a bikini in her new video, "Chasing the Sun," and collaborates withEd Sheeran, the latter of which made her nervous, she admits.

"It was amazing to have him there and to have him be so involved. And it scared the s––– out of me too."

The former Disney star said that music began to call to her again when she was pregnant with son Luca, 2.

"I was about to give birth, I was actually pregnant, and I had, like, two months to go – I was a house walking around – and I just started writing a lot out of nowhere. I don't know if it was because I was hormonal and emotional, but I started writing and I took it as a sign that I'm missing that part of my life."

Aamir Khan's nude 'PK' poster: Is Bollywood hypocritical in acceptance of male and female nudity?

New Delhi: Why hasn't there been any outrage to Aamir Khan posing naked on the poster of 'PK' yet? Isn't it surprising that an actor of Aamir Khan's stature has posed nude for a poster and yet, knowing the way our society works, people are heaping the actor with compliments instead of questioning his morality?
The poster of Rajkumar Hirani's highly anticipated film was released late Thursday night on various social networking sites and surprisingly received positive feed back from the the actor's fans. There were of course some tongue-in-cheek humour here and there but most lauded the risk that the superstar has taken in his new film.
Now lets see. What if we place any leading actress in the same poster, posing exactly like Khan has. Are you thinking of terms like FIRS, PILS, protests, character assassination almost instantly? Yes?
Aamir Khan's nude 'PK' poster: Is Bollywood hypocritical in acceptance of male and female nudity?

Why hasn't there been any outrage to Aamir Khan posing naked on the poster of 'PK' yet?

In a society which is riddled by what is to be accepted in these modern times and what is to be shunned, in most cases the rules are only restricted to the fairer sex. If a Poonam Pandey or Sherlyn Chopra appears nude on a poster- we are quick to label them as 'B-Grade' starlets. If a Katrina Kaif or Vidya Balan show even a bit cleavage on a film's poster- we label them as 'gutsy' and 'bold'. Eyebrows are surely raised and debates on objectification of female gender are discussed with much seriousness.
But when a leading super star poses nude holding a transistor very strategically, the same 'junta' praises the actor and looks forward to the film. His morality is not questioned. Neither does his image of a righteous citizen gets marred in any way. Because you know, he is the perfectionist and just playing a part well.
While it is refreshing to see Bollywood come of age and have the ability to experiment with striking themes in film posters, it is also disappointing to observe the double standards we as a society have. Male nudity is almost always looked through. It is never discussed or debated. In the past actors like John Abraham, Rajkummar Rao and Neil Nitin Mukesh have all appeared nude in films- because the script demanded it. No issue was ever raised. But the reactions seemed to be drastically different when a woman does it. Always.
Aamir Khan is known for experimenting with his role. His latest 'PK' has him playing an alien- which somewhat explains the first poster of the film. The actor has in the past gone bold, grown a handle bar mustache, sculpted 8 pack abs- for films. But this time round, Aamir has surpassed by his own standards as well. And it is refreshing to see a leading actor- who has such a huge fan following- take such a risk at the peak of his career. While we laud it and welcome the change that it may bring with it, we also wonder how many more years it will take to accept a similar poster with an Indian actress on it.

Salman Khan: I have my mother’s eyes

Salman Khan meets us the evening after release of Kick. Like any other day, he has slept well through the morning, had his lunch with his family, been for his heavy workout and then sits down hungry to talk to us. With his favourite food kept in front of him, the first thing he tells me is, "I am more interested in eating right now than doing this interview." He tried his best to also distract me into eating with him, but we somehow managed.
Salman Khan: I have my mother’s eyes
Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan

Excerpts of our conversation with him and his friend and director of Kick, Sajid Nadiadwala.

Conversation with Salman Khan:

What do you do on Eid?
I do on Eid what I do on any other festive day, spend time with family and pray for longevity of life for them. It's a day I can go off that non-carb diet and pray from the bottom of my heart in my way. That's it. In our house, we
celebrate everything. We celebrate even a festival called disaster. We also celebrate the success of other people. We celebrate our own failure. We, as a family, find something each day to celebrate.

Every son has something about their mother they love.
I have my mother's eyes though I grew up on my mother's nerves. My mother can actually handle anything. Her tolerance for pain is substantial. Like her, I think I have that quality of standing up laughing and then standing up after a broken leg. She once fell down many stairs and we all got hassled that mummy had fallen. But can you imagine, we ran down and saw her laughing. I asked her, 'Theek ho?' She said, 'Haan, theek hoon.' Then dad came. He said, 'What happened?' She said, 'I fell and have broken my foot.' When we saw her leg, it had been broken into 8-10 pieces. Dad says, 'You have put on so much weight. You will get saved but to lift you, your husband and son may get a heart attack.' She was in bed for about six months. She cooks and right now she is getting ready all the ingredients for sevaiyyan and sheer khurma for Eid for everybody.

Your childhood memory of Eid?
We were always told, 'If you don't behave yourself, we will not take you out.' It's not that I do my namaaz everyday, but I try to pray in my mind all the time. I work and whenever I get the time, I think of Him and I try and do the right things all the time. I believe in Him and a power that is there above all of us. Now, I will pray the Eid ki namaaz where you get up in the morning and pray with the whole jamaat. I do it differently. I keep on repeating the words in my mind and the translation for everything in my mind in Hindi or English, as Arabic is a language which you are reading but not understanding it. My pronunciation of Arabic may not
be perfect, so I say the meaning too after that. As kids, it used to be an outing. Invariably, someone or the other would get up late and we would miss the namaaz at one place, then go to the other and sometimes miss it at all places and come back home and then read it together, blaming each other for it. But it was so much fun. Most of the times, the defaulter was Sohail, I think, as he was always chilled out. As kids we used to get 25 paise or 50 paise as Eidi. As we are growing older, we get such a big phatka. I just don't like this Eid and Rakhi as between these two sisters and two rakhi sisters, it's more than enough. I have decided to have no more sisters. Aisa tagda phatka padta hai, and then they will tell you, you are Salman Khan so you have to give more. They don't agree below a lakh at at least. They will put rakhis on your whole hand. Every year, they want you to give more and then if you have had a hit, the amount will be even higher, so it's not fun any more.

How do you deal with the expectations from Kick?
I feel good about the film. My experience throughout the film is not going to change basis the box office numbers. So, however the film goes, I have had a great journey making this film. There are two ways of looking at it. Ek dua maango, ki bahut badi hit hoye. Jab flop ho jaye toh dua maango ki kum se kum flop ho. Thoda sa aur dede. Thoda sa aur dede. Please thoda sa aur dede Allah. We get greedy ki Allah hume maaf kar de, hum greedy ho gaye they. Itna nahi maangna chahiye tha. You start making deals with Allah. You say, 'I will leave this,' then you say, 'Nahi yeh nahi, woh nahi karoonga,' and then finally you say, 'Koshish karoonga for 4 days' I have never done a bargain with God. I very rarely ask itself because he knows everything toh maangna kya. I always ask for others ki kum se kum taqleef de unko. A film's success is a combination of hard work, prayers and people wanting to work with you, which means that you are good people who don't have enemies. Also God has given you a brain, so don't make a bad film, as don't expect a film to do well if it is shitty.

Your relationship with God...

We are respectful when it comes to our parents and bosses. We expect fans to behave themselves when they meet us. Even to meet a small-time politician, we are willing to stand in a line and go through security. Par upar waale se toh baat karte hain jaisa kuch bhi nahi. Har aadmi se baat karne mein phat jaati hai, but upar waale se baat karne mein we go Allahhhhh. Yaar Allah, tere se baat karte hain, yeh kya chakkar hai yaar? That the power that has made the world we talk to so easily with so much right and authority, we sulk with him, get angry, just imagine if you were to do that with a person with much lesser power. I don't understand that funda. The politeness and respect should be so much more with Allah. When someone talks to us even a little badly, we will say badtameez hain and get irritated. If a fan out of excitement calls at 2 at night, we feel angry. But imagine Allah, we say whatever we want to him at any time. Kya baat hai. He must also be feeling like we do and must also be wanting to hit us, but he doesn't. I feel blessed because if I make a mistake I get instant result for it.

It seems that it has become important for you to play a good person in a film. Is that true?

Yes it's an important criteria. I think, this has to look cooler than the negative guy. There was a time when being a good man was a cool thing, then there came an era where looking negative became cool. I never went into that zone. You make negative stuff look cool and that is what is followed. I may do grey characters, but try and do the right thing on screen. Today in our society even if there is a genuinely good guy, people will think he can't be like that. He must be a gamer, a planner. That is not nice just because he is not like you and is genuinely good.

What next?
I go back to playing Prem in Soorajji's film. When I was refreshing the script in my mind I was thinking that I have been in a banyan more in his film than in any other film. I got a call yesterday from his office saying, 'We need to shoot the pool sequence after you return.' I was eating my chocolate at that time, but listening to that I kept my chocolate down.

Why don't you have a bare body shot in Kick?
We had Nawazuddin in our film. Nawazuddin koh marne ke liye shirt utarne ki zaroorat hi nahi hai. The optional weapons we were looking out for to hit him were like a needle,
a nail cutter, a bobpin even a toothpick. We knew even seeing a toothpick he will run away:

Conversation with the director of Kick, Sajid Nadiadwala:

What does Eid signify in your life?

It was different earlier when dad was there. We looked up to him and sometimes needed to be dragged for namaaz as Eid is a holiday. But today, I am the dad of my house and my kids look upto me now as I am the eldest in the family. So I have to go for namaaz now. Eid is also a time when I miss my dad a lot and remember him.

Has your family seen the film?
During Ramzan time, all the women observe strictness in our house. All three generations in my house (my grandmother, mother and wife) are praying for the film's success, but have not seen the film yet but they are dying to see it and will see it on Eid. Right now, they are holding back and giving their qurbani to Allah. But, of course, since they hear me talking on the phone, in between reading the namaaz, they will come and ask me the box office numbers and then go back to their namaaz I feel my life is like a duck where you only see me from above floating, but actually, the feet below the water doing all the work is their prayers.

Any memory associated with Eid?
Earlier, the nice things were buying clothes one week in advance and getting your Eidi from your elders. In our religion, as per Quran, it is defined that we need to give 2% of our earnings (Zakat) of whatever we make to the needy during the holy month of Ramzan. A few years back, my `30-40 lakhs cash got stolen. Everyone told me that with filmi people, the money never comes back. But I had faith. I said, 'I have paid my zakat and every penny will come back to me.' It is there in my Quran. Everyone laughed at me, but can you imagine the thief not only returned back my money ,but did not even take out `100 from it for his food. So I feel zakat is there to protect your interest in life.

It's been a great year for you first with success in Highway, 2 States and Heropanti as a producer and now with Kick as a producer-director.
Salim uncle said, 'Takhdeer paise laati hai, dimaag gawati hai.' It's so true. For so many years I have been working so hard working 18-19 hours a day, nothing happened. This year I have been so involved with just Kick, but did not work hard on my other films and yet they have done so well. With Kick I turned director only due to Salman and so he was the first person I wanted to please. But what is nice is that not just him, but the audience is liking the film. I am not directing a film for the next few years and will be standing in queue waiting for only Salman to do my next film.

Amitabh Bachchan to be Formally Invited by the State of Goa to Inaugurate IFFI

Amitabh Bachchan to be Formally Invited by the State of Goa to Inaugurate IFFI

Mr Bachchan had responded positively to an informal request made by the Goa CM
Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said that the state government will formally invite Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan to inaugurate the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) scheduled to take place in Goa this November.

"Amitabh Bachchan's name is at the top of the list for being invited for the upcoming IFFI. I have informally spoken to him. Once we get approval from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, we will send a formal invitation to him," he said. (Also Read: Yudh's international buzz)

Mr Parrikar was speaking to reporters after chairing the Governing Council meeting of Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), the nodal agency for hosting the festival, conducted jointly by the I&B Ministry and State Government.

Mr Parrikar said Mr Bachchan had responded positively to the informal request.

The Chief Minister said IFFI, shifted to Goa in 2004 and being held in the State since then will this year get a leg-up in terms of infrastructure and a new vigour will be injected in the November 20-30 event.

He said new theatres would be added with the help of Central funding as part of efforts to increase the seating capacity for audiences, who throng to the state from all over India and also abroad.

The Centre recently decided to make Goa the permanent venue for IFFI, he said, adding the event will be made self-sufficient in the next 2-3 years by attracting sponsorships. Mr Parrikar said the 11-day festival would be inaugurated at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium here.
This would save Rs 1.5 crore which goes into constructing a special hangar to host the opening ceremony.

The ESG will be made self-sustainable and moves are afoot to rope in the Directorate of Film Festival (DFF) to help achieve this goal, he added.

Hate Story 2 Viewers Review: Decent Watch If Logics Don’t Matter

The film Hate Story 2 starring Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali was much hyped for its supposed bold scenes but in actual, Hate Story 2 deserves more attention for its revenge quotient. No doubt, Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali's hot romance, coupled with some exotic kissing scenes can push up the adrenaline rush of the viewers; but the most thrilling part of Hate Story 2 was its brutal ways of killing. First half of the film entertains the audience with some hot skin-show by surveen while, Surveen and Jay's bold love making in the song ‘Aaj phir tumpe' sung by Arijit Singh and Samira Koppikar will surely delight your eyes as well as ears. However, the hate element in the film Hate Story 2 came up only when Sushant Singh makes his appearance and he truly came up as one of the most wicked antagonists of all time. The story follows like Surveen Chawla (Sonika) somehow becomes a mistress of a powerful political leader played by Sushant Singh (Mandar Matre) who eventually directs every aspect of Surveen's life. Surveen seemed to have accepted her painful life until she meets Jay Bhanushali (Akshay) and both fall madly in love with each other. Surveen and Jay decide to run away from evil Sushant's reach but the arrogant villain along with his gang of goons grabs hold of them and kills lover-boy Jay in front of Surveen's eyes. Sushant also tries to kill Surveen but the lady somehow manages to escape death and then starts the revenge saga of Hate Story 2. Although, the debutant director Vishal Pandya crafted his characters pretty well, he somehow missed to notice some loop holes in the storyline and apparently ignored few simple logics. To mention some, Surveen apparently being underground roams around the city with quite ease but the powerful villain could not trace her. Secondly, initially Surveen had no source of income but while being in her revenge trip, she comes in an expensive car with a driver on the front seat to meet a character. And the best one was a good cop who tries to help Surveen was so good that he not only helps Surveen to escape police detention but also provides shelter in his house and the film ends without revealing for how long a fugitive could hide in a cop's abode. On the other side, Sunny Leone's item song 'Pink Lips' seemed like an adverstisement as it appeared suddenly from no where but for all Sunny Leone fans, it will be a delight. All in all, Surveen was impressive both in her skin-show as well as acting-show and Jay also did justice to whatever little role he had. But Sushant Singh stole the show with his superb villainous avatar. Hate Story 2 can be a decent watch if you can ignore some of the loop holes mentioned above like the makers of the film missed those.

Salman Khan on paparazzi ban: Both sides stand to lose

Actor Salman Khan, who has been banned by the paparazzi, says that the loss is on both sides even as he made it clear that photographers should not be under any misconception that stars exist because of them.
Last week, at a promotional event here of the 48-year-old actor's upcoming film Kick, camera-persons requested Salman to pose at a particular spot, which he reportedly turned down.

Salman Khan on Paparazzi Ban: Both sides stand to lose

Apparently thereafter a scuffle took place between the photographers and Salman's security guards at the event following which the actor went on to say, "Those who want to cover the event are welcome to stay, the rest can leave if they wish."

This worsened the situation after which press photographers decided to boycott the Dabangg star. Asked to comment, Salman said, "Why should I step in it is not my job.

It is between (private) bodyguards and press photographers. I am a star I have come here. I stand and you take pictures. It is your choice to not to take my pictures. I hope they can survive."

"At least there are some people who have taken a stand whether it is right or wrong is a different thing. It is their loss and even my loss in this thing," he said in an interview here.
"If they think, we cannot to do without them or if they think we are there because of them then it is not true. This has to be checked. We stand there because they are working hard. They have to make money (as well) as they have family," he said.
"Even after getting pictures, the photographers keep waiting and clicking photos. Also, I would be happy if that whole fraternity says we will not take his pictures. I would be really happy," he added.

Armaan Jain dating South Mumbai girl Anissa Malhotra?

Armaan Jain dating South Mumbai girl Anissa Malhotra?
Armaan Jain

Childhood sweetheart or just another friend, who's Anissa Malhotra?

In an interview to Mirror (June 16), Raj Kapoor's grandson, Armaan Jain, when quizzed about his real life love story had guffawed, "Where's the time for love? I'm married to my work."

However, a source close to the actor, who recently made his Bollywood debut with a rom-com, reveals that he has been seeing a South Mumbai girl Anissa Malhotra, who is currently in New York and has recently graduated from one of the best schools in the Big Apple. Although Anissa, who comes from a Punjabi-Parsi parentage, has never been spotted on the set, rumours are doing the rounds that she is more that just a good friend to the young actor.

When Mirror confronted Armaan, obviously taken by surprise, he almost stuttered, "You are mistaken. I have never been in a long-term relationship with anyone." However, when prodded about whether he knew a girl by that name, Ranbir Kapoor's cousin admitted that he indeed did, but went on to add: "Anissa... Anjali... They are my close friends from school." Armaan went on to say that these pretty ladies had studied with him at Cathedral & John Connon School in Fort. "Anissa is a childhood friend.I've known her since we were three. We were a group of eight who grew up together," he insisted.

When asked if Anissa had attended the premiere of Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, he protested, "All my friends attended my film's premiere. But these girls are like my sisters and the boys are my brothers. They are going to rag me silly if the news goes around about Anissa and me." So, what's he been up to since the release of his first film? Armaan who had earlier stated that right now his only thought was bagging a second film once his contract ended on July 4, admitted that he had yet to sign his second film. "I've joined a couple of classes and I'm grooming myself. I've been working hard on myself," he said.
